Helen Doty Ramsey, 91, of Springfield died at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008 in her residence.

She was born in Springfield on February 22, 1916 the daughter of Kathryn (Dundon) Doty.

Survivors include her daughter Dr. Rosemary P. Ramsey, Dayton, OH; four grandchildren Teresa Edwards, Doug, Scott and Craig Bolger; Six great grandchildren PJ, Sean, Patrick, Kelly, Jenna and Alec and a great great grandson Jimmy; sister Dorothy Porter and a brother Robert Doty, sister-in-law Paula Savage all of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her mother, husband of sixty-six years Claude L. in 2001, daughter Phyllis J. Russell in 2000 and two brothers and two sisters and a great granddaughter Casey Bolger.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. p.m. Sunday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel at Ferncliff Cemetery. Burial will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Paramedics.
