Guynell "Toni" Compton, 54 of Springfield, departed this life April 16, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, High Street Campus.

She was born March 27, 1954 in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of Harold R. and Marlyn (McField) Henry.

Toni loved her family and enjoyed special times with them.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother; Marlyn Henry of Springfield, father; Harold R. Henry of Louisville, Ky., loving children; Marvin L. (MaKeeka) Compton Jr., and Yavonda L. Compton and her fiance'; Curtis Wright, two brothers; Christopher Henry and Gene West, three sisters; Marva Crowe, Muriel R. Henry and Melissa (Brent) Kelley, grandchildren; Shaniqua, Juan and Makaiya Compton, special nieces and nephew; Tasha and Yolanda Crowe and Corey L. Henry and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend; Tosca McMahan.

Visitation for Ms. Compton will be Monday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Clara Boyd-Williams, officiating. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
