Greg Alan Conwell, 45, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born September 16, 1962 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of John “Jack” Conwell and Verieda (Heaton) (Conwell ) Ware.

Greg was employed at CEVA Logistics.

Survivors include his mother; Verieda Ware of Springfield, three children; Jessica Conwell (Brandon Johnson Sr.) , Erin Conwell, all of Springfield, Seth Conwell, Brookville, Ohio, two grand children; Brandon Johnson Jr. and Braylen Johnson, two brothers; Rick Conwell and Mark Conwell of Springfield, nephew; Chad Conwell, niece; Chelsi Conwell, his loving companion; Shannon Baugh and her children Jessica, Doug and Cameron and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Alan Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Blood Bank.
