Grace Mary Farmer, 76, of Springfield, died at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2008 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

She was born March 25, 1932 in Sandusky, Ohio the daughter of Vincent and Norma (Hill) Hinde. She had worked at Dunn Cleaners and Tri-County Shoppers News for a number of years.

Survivors include her husband of over 38 years, Mason H.; eight children, Norma (Suzy) Harter, Kansas City, Kansas, Gladys (Danny) Williams, Paintsville, Kentucky, John Davey, Springfield, Paula Beamish, White Hall, Ohio, Thomas Hayslett, Pikeville, Kentucky and Pamela Wilson, Springfield, Barbara Ann (Jerry) Safarik, Hillsboro, Ohio and Bob (Lynne) Farmer, Tucson, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, June Edmonds, Florida; two brothers, Vincent "Sonny" (Pat) Hinde, Florida and Charles "Butch" (Rosalee) Hinde, Toledo and a special niece, Nancy Hayslett.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Garner.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Powell officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Locust Grove, Ohio.
