Florence Harriet West, 89, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center – Fountain Blvd. Campus.

She was born on September 1, 1918 in Mt. Carmel, Ohio the daughter of Floyd and Minnie (Donovan) Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and David Pullins Sr. of Springfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray E. Jr. and Patty West of Springfield; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Grace Wilson of Marblehead, Ohio; and many special friends.

Mrs. West was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray E. West Sr., three daughters: Agnes Lafayette, Linda Johnson, and Sandra Leigh West; one sister, Dorothy White, one brother, Ralph E. Wilson, and one grandson, Michael Lee Lafayette.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rose Hill Mausoleum Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service. Entombment will follow.
