Eva G. Caven, 95, of New Carlisle, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:33 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2008.

She was born February 7, 1912 in Warren, Arkansas the daughter of George Marion and Della ( Johnson) McKinzie.

Mrs. Caven was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lower Valley Pike and attended Sunday School in the Northside Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and loved her Church, doing crochet and traveling.

Survivors include her children: William C. (Bev) Caven, Springfield, Jayne E. Marshall, Arizona, Walter Disney, California, Lynda ( Rev. Dale) Stumbo, New Carlisle, twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild ,one on the way and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Cecil Caven, February 1, 1974 , her parents and ten brothers and sisters.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 2 until 5 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday in the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Stumbo (Eva’s son in law ) officiating. Additional visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
