Duane Thomas Holm, 53, of Springfield and Bradenton Beach , Florida passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 in his residence in Springfield.

He was born March 6, 1955 in Springfield the son of William F. and Marianna L. (Clayton) Holm.

Upon graduation from Springfield South High School , Tom was appointed by Clarence J. Brown to the Air Force Academy. He was a graduate of Brigham Young University with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Law. He passed the Bar in both Florida and Ohio and practiced law in Florida for a time. He was also in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include one brother and sister in law James and Diane Holm, Olmsted Falls, Ohio, one niece Lora (Sam) Shirey, four nephews Christopher (Katie) Holm, Luke Holm, Alexander Holm and Daniel Holm, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Linda Holm.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 5 until 8 PM Tuesday. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in Ferncliff Cemetery with Pastor Richard McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow.
