Dorothy L. Tritle, 82, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday, August 1, 2008.

Dorothy was born October 2, 1925 in Clark County, Ohio the daughter of the late Wesley & Bertha (Sigler) Grimm.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas & Margaret Tritle of Altus, Oklahoma, Steven & Judith Tritle of Tipp City, Ohio; two daughters, Constance Hall Simpson & John Simpson of Dayton, Ohio, Nancy Dennis of Miamisburg, Ohio; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, James A. (Jennie) Grimm of New Carlisle; three sisters, Anna Mae Eisnaugle of New Carlisle, Marjorie (Larry) Allen of Springfield, Ohio, Carolyn (Paul) Schwierking of St. Paris; sister- in-law, Mary Grimm, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Tritle; her brother, Wilbur E. Grimm and grandson, Mark A. Dennis.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar and Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Ric Barnes of First Lutheran Church of Troy officiating. Burial will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
