Clara M. Voss, 82, of Springfield passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Dayton.

She was born September 6, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Paul Wolfe and Dorothea Holtz Racle. Clara was a substitute teacher and earned her masters at the age of 72 from the University of Urbana.

Clara is survived by her three children: Deborah (William) Yandle of Springfield, Christopher (Sherry) Paul Voss of New Carlisle, Timothy (Deborah) Voss of Springfield, two brothers; Eugene Wolfe and Fred Racle, nine grandchildren; Sean (Allison) Yandle, Lauren Yandle, Kevin L. Voss, Sara Voss, Angela Dillon, Jessica Dewitt, Sara Root, Brett Weaver, Leah Voss, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends. S

he was preceded in death by he husband, Raymond "Ray J" Voss, who passed away April 10, 1988; her parents, stepfather, Arnold Racle, stepmother, Leona Wolfe, and her loving son, Garry Voss.

Funeral service will be held 12:00 am Thursday, October 9, 2008 in Adkins Funeral Home, 7055 Dayton Road, Enon, with Pastor Dan Witter officiating. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio. Family and friends may visit from 6-8 Wednesday in the funeral home.
