Bobby Joe White, 75, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday, October 24, 2008. Bobby was born January 12, 1933 in Mt. Clothier, WV, the son of the late Basil and Lucy (McNeely) White.

He was an Aerospace Engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and retired in 1988. He was an avid sportsman and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by brother, Paul White of Madison, WV; daughters, Sherrie (John) Shiplett of Baltimore, OH and Julie White of Santa Ynez, CA, and sons Brian (Paula) White of Rockledge, FL and Kevin White of New Carlisle, OH. He also had four grandchildren who were very special to him: David and Sara White, Cade White, and Alex Shiplett.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth (Kinsley) White, son Robert Wayne White, and brothers Ray White and Bill White.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
