Beverly A. (Owen) Hawkins, 50, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 21, 2008. She was born March 20, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Paul & Lois (Parsons) Owen.

She graduated from Tecumseh High School and Sinclair College. She was the director of nursing at Belle Manor Nursing Home. She is a cancer survivor.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy & Jason Jennings of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Carly and Owen Jennings; her father, Paul; brothers, Daniel and Lori Owen of Medway, Larry & Chris Owen of Hilliard, Ohio; special friend, John Schilling; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Wednesday September 24, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
